Spidertech™ Blue Line
Introduction
The product line consists of a family of sails made of laminated cross-cut panels. The assembly of the broad seamed panels provides a complete sail with fibres oriented to carry loads.
In the norm, fibre oriented sails are designed to fit a unique perimeter, hence every single sail is custom made at least in terms of perimeter geometry.
The peculiarity and novelty of a 'Spidertech™ Blue Line' sail is that, thanks to an innovative structure, it can be tailored to fit a range of dimensions. Hence, it is effectively a sail (not a cloth) that can be stocked by the sailmaker, for ready delivery to the boat owner.
A 'Spidertech™ Blue Line' sail has the advantage of the traditional cloth in terms of flexibility of use maintaining the performance of a fibre oriented sail.
With 'Spidertech™ Blue Line' FMG introduces another revolution in the field of sailmaking as the sail, still fibre oriented, still innovative with respect to the materials on rolls, can be produced and stocked for later modification.
